The challenge
GAP International – an expert team of performance advisors to the C-suite of Fortune 1000 companies– has built a reputation for delivering breakthrough outcomes in management consultancy. For nearly a decade, the company had been seeking to digitize the complete set of their products and services to make their expertise accessible to a broader business community. Yet, none of their software development partners were able to deliver what they were seeking.
The Solution
We delivered a native app, created for iOS and Android, aptly named Leveraging Genius. As a professional development platform, it successfully helps individual users and corporate teams to explore, discover, and maximize their genius. Our team re-architected and refactored the app’s entire structure and custom-created several solutions and features that took its functionality to the next level.
PingBing – A Voice-Based Social Networking Platform
Tech stack
-
Android Studio
-
Java
-
XCode
-
Swift
-
node js
The challenge
PingBing was developed in partnership with Volo, when the company commissioned the app, based on the idea of a group of high school students the company was mentoring at the time. The idea was to create an app that would connect users solely through voice messages, giving them a fresh new way of interacting.
The Solution
To develop the app, Volo partnered with V-mobile, based on years of mutual trust and collaboration. The end result was a state-of-the-art, award-winning social network for Android and iOS based only on voice messaging. Full of engaging features, the app comes with a cool design and a super-intuitive interface. It gives users the freedom to connect to their pre-defined communities as well as people outside of their social networks.
Among other things, it allows users to
- Create a profile and manage their settings based on either “Public” or “Friends Only” modes.
- Search with usernames or through connected social networks to locate their friends within their selected territories.
- Send and receive audio messages both 1:1 or through group Pings.
- Connect in private or public channels to socialize even when not in proximity.
A Government-Commissioned App of the Armenian Red List Species
Tech stack
-
Android Studio
-
Kotlin
-
XCode
-
Swift
-
Angular
-
.NET Core
-
PostgreSQL
The challenge
As part of the Caucasus Initiative by the German Government, GiZ Armenia, in a partnership with the Ministry of Nature Protection, set out to create an app of the Armenian Red List Species. The app was part of an awareness campaign by the aforementioned organizations to educate the public on the flora and fauna of their particular regions as well as inform them on the problems of deforestation and the ensuing loss of biodiversity.
The Solution
The first order of business was to come up with a classification approach and design a dynamic data structure that enables the display of a species in a list, on a map, or as a search result. With the help of location-based services, the app allows users to view species within their particular region and even gives them the opportunity to contact app admins with their own suggestions by filling out a contact form along with their message and attaching any pertinent images.
Mobile App for a Virtual Health Assistant: Leveraging IoT to Transform the Healthcare Space
Tech stack
-
Xamarin
-
Microsoft Azure
-
Android
The Challenge
As people from all segments of the population continue to get more and more comfortable with using voice technology, our client company wanted to create a voice-controlled healthcare assistant, to help users figure out all of their complex healthcare information on their own time, from the comfort of their own home.
The Solution
We delivered a mobile app to our client that provides for the easy and secure setup and management of their voice-activated assistant. To use the device, users are able to set up a Virtual Household, to which new users can be added upon registration. Through the app, they can then create roles (e.g. caregiver, care receiver) and assign the appropriate permissions to those roles to be able to perform this or that action. The app also activates a Voice Training feature by recording certain prompted phrases of each user’s voice. Based on the users’ PINs, it is then able to differentiate people based on their voice. With its user-friendly UI, the accompanying smartwatch monitors the users’ step count and heartbeat with the option to place emergency calls with the users’ location report.
